'Sierra Nevada' is a freescale model with inspirations drawn from the Denver & South Park and the Colorado & Southern mogul locomotives.

"Sierra Nevada", although a freestyle model, owes its inspirations to the moguls of the "Denver and South Park" and "Colorado & Southern" lines.

The model is internally gas fired and has radio control for speed and direction. The cab roof lifts up sideways to give easy access to water, oil and gas fillers. The boiler is fitted with a water gauge as standard. If used with one of our boiler filling systems the engine can be kept in steam for long periods of time. The lubricator is fitted with an under floor drain and the gas can easily be regulated through the cab window. The loco is enhanced with many brass castings and the tender has much rivet detail. The engine's chassis is well detailed and accurately represents the American "bar frame" type. The radio receiver and batteries are in the tender and are easily accessible under the dummy coal load.

"Sierra Nevada" is a powerful, good-looking, American road loco, which will give hours of pleasure running on your railroad.
