This is a scale model of the earlier Manning Wardle locomotive of the L&B. It is also available as 'TAW' or 'YEO'.

The engine is built to 16mm scale but is 'G' scale compatible.  It will happily run round curves as sharp as 2'6".

The loco has internal gas firing and the smokebox door opens to aid lighting.  The engine is fitted with radio control for speed and direction and both loco and transmitter have re-chargeable batteries.  Many lost-wax brass castings such as coweatchers, fully detailed sanding gear and buffer beams with all bolt head detail, enhance the engine.

The boiler is fitted with a large water filler turret in the cab.  The water filler cap and the lubricator cap are knurled for ease of use.  The boiler is fitted with a water level tap and the lubricator has an underfloor drain valve.  These features enable the cab floor to be kept clean from oil and water.

Although this is a scale model it is strongly built to give hours of pleasure running in the garden.
